ASSISTANT TO DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION RELATED SERVICES

Will work under the direction of the Director of Construction Services primarily to observe and assist in administering construction projects, i.e. roadway construction, utility installations, and site construction projects.

Requirements:

* Associates Degree in Civil Engineering
* Experience with construction of underground utilities and roadway construction projects

* Familiar with construction specifications and quantity calculations
* Familiar with construction and bidding laws
* Familiar with construction testing procedures

Duties:

* Perform construction observation services relative to roadway construction, utility installation and site construction projects.

* Assist Construction Director with managing projects and/or individual tasks.
* Prepare for and attend project meetings with Construction Director, clients & contractors.

* Estimate project costs relative to construction.
* Prepare technical reports.
* Represent firm in professional manner.
* Schedule project testing services
